We are hosting our very own apple day on Sunday 20th September with the kind permission of Stotfold Town Council. Why not come down and join us and turn your apples into tasty juice? With what looks to be another bumper harvest of apples and pears this year why not avoid rotten apples and wasps and bring your garden fruit along to the event where we will press them into juice for you. We will show you our process and you can have a go at milling and pressing yourself! Chose to drink as fresh fruit juice or ferment the juice into cider or perry. There will be plenty of advice to hand. You will just need to bring with you some clean containers to take your juice away in. There will be an opportunity to taste the very freshest pressed apple juice made from local apples. Also joining us will be a bar-b-que featuring local quality produce provided by Stotfold's own Cardona and Son. Local cider can be sampled at the nearby Stag Tavern's Beer and Cider Festival during the weekend. Where: Brook Street Car Park (SG54LA) When: Sunday 20th September 2015 - 12:00 to 17:00 |
